Recently, the National Standards and Excise Department of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine issued an announcement, and approved the publication of 354 national standards such as "woven children's clothing", "clothing measurement method" and "color fastness test for textiles."

       Industry insiders told reporters that the standard name of "Textile fastness test for color fastness to dry cleaning of tetrachloroethylene" was clearly changed to "tetrachloroethylene" after dry cleaning, which is closer to the actual use of dry cleaning solvents in the market, making it possible to use commercial dry cleaning. The results are well correlated. At the same time, the test principle was modified, and the test was carried out after the sample and the lining fabric were bonded together, and the solvent stain was changed to the smear.

       It is understood that GB/T5711-2015 "Textile fastness test for resistance to dry cleaning of tetrachloroethylene" will be implemented on April 1, 2016. The standard was revised to adopt the international standard ISO 105-D01:2010 "Dyeing fastness test D01 part: dry cleaning fastness test", which will replace GB/T5711-1997 "Textile fastness test dry fastness".
